a tribute to all the bunnies scampering about outside my studio.

this original bunny rabbit in pink flowers painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display. this textural, mixed media painting is done on a piece of reclaimed wood. i buy all of my wood from a local furniture maker, and am never sure what he is going to sell me, which adds to the creative inspiration.

unlike a lot of artwork offered today, my work is done by hand from start to finish. the materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides of this painting are layered antique rose and wisteria purple.

size is approximately 6" in width, and 10.75" in height. the painting is about .75" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
