this original painting is the ideal addition to a mantle, side table, desk, or shelf. it also has a hook for immediate wall display. this holiday decoration is created on a birch wood block. i use birch wood blocks on occasion due to their lightweight durability.
the materials are applied layer by layer and then allowed to dry before the next application. this gives the paintings a great amount of depth and detail. sides of this painting are layered coral and white. materials include vintage and antique paper strips, vintage postage and 1800s handwritten letters. the left-hand side of the painting has a vintage holiday postage stamp.
size is approximately 4" in width, and 6" in height. the painting is about .75" in depth. all of my paintings can be handled. they look great on their own, or buy a bunch and display them together!
