this original female cardinal bird painting in an oval frame is a sweet little vintage style objet d'art. the painting has a hook for immediate wall display. this textural, mixed media painting is on the interior of a wood oval frame from italy-crafted most likely in the 1950's or 1960's. the frame has lovely tones of taupe, magenta and gold, along with a nice patina due to age.

materials include antique handwritten letters from the 1800's, vintage paper and postage stamps, and gold leaf. on the back of the frame, you can see the name and artist of the originally featured print (on paper). the print was removed and then the wood was prepped and treated for the new original painting. the artwork is delicate and should be handled with care. please display in indirect light to protect the painting.

size is approximately 3" in width and 4" in height. the painting is about .5" in depth.
